Mr. Ahmed Sami has more than 10 years of experience in financial management and accounting. He has a proven record of enhancing financial processes, leading high-performance teams, and driving profitability across diverse sectors and regions.
He currently serves as the Group Finance Manager at AQARATIC & Reinvest (a real estate platform), where he oversees the full accounting cycle, budgeting, and forecasting. He also leads the data analytics team and prepares Highest and Best Use (HBU) financial models and feasibility studies for investor presentations, which strengthened his expertise in financial modeling, project evaluation, and investment analysis in the real estate sector.
Previously, he served as the Regional Accounts Manager at ITWorx Education (Egypt & UAE), part of the YAS Holding Group. He established the finance function from scratch and implemented full accounting operations (AP, AR, revenue recognition), and automated financial reporting using Power BI & Power Query. These initiatives reduced net losses in the first year, achieved profitability in the third year, and increased profits by 40% in the fourth year.
Early in his career, he worked at Property Finder as a Senior Accountant and then as a Budget Cycle & Accounts Analyst, leading teams in Egypt, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. During this period, he earned his CMA and FMVA certifications which strengthened his expertise in financial planning, analysis, and control.
